Latin American Songs: “Alma Llanera”, Venezuela; “La Flor de La Canela”, Peru: “O Abre Alas”, Brazil.
Coming back to her roots with tangos from Carlos Gardel to Piazzolla’s “Maria de Buenos Aires”, “El Dia que me Quieras”, “Mi Buenos Aires Querido” and more as well as beautiful tango Dancers.
Lyric singer Alexandra Marie hails from Argentina to tell us her personal and musical story as an immigrant in the United States through her beloved songs that shaped her career. She combines her talents with crossovers from the classical world to Latin American and Tango favorites from her native country.
Accompanying Alexandra, Paul Schwartz , repertorist pianist with FGO and Grammy lifetime award winner, maestro Federico Britos, violin. The show also features special appearance by renown and sensual tango dancers’ couple Rocio and German Filipeli.
